This sermon is part of our series walking through the book of 2 Thessalonians. As we look at the chaos in the world around us, we may be reminded of the first century Christians in Thessolonika who faced constant persecution and eagerly awaited Jesus’ return. We hope to dive into what 2 Thessalonians teach us about Jesus’ return and how are we to live in light of that hope. In this sermon, we explore the mysteries surrounding Jesus' return and how the Apostle Paul teaches on it in 2 Thessalonians 2. Will the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem be a sign of the return? There is compelling Biblical evidence contrary to that. Also, we explore the mystery of the "Man of Lawlessness", the antichrist, and we find that the "mystery of lawlessness" is already at work. So, we are encouraged to be firm in our faith and resist the work of lawlessness in and around us.
